Prodman did not start with a product idea. It started with a printer who had spent ten years and eight attempts trying to make software work, and had stopped believing it ever would.
How Prodman was born.
A working diary & book printer had tried it all. Eight attempts across ten years. ERPs, then Google Sheets, then Airtable, then a consultant, then paper again. Every one was too complex, or demanded they change how they work, or needed staff who could type. All they ever wanted was to print and ship. They did not care what the software was built with.
So the entries were made late, from memory, or not at all. Judgement replaced facts. Mistakes turned up on delivery day instead of day one. In the end they stopped believing software could help a factory like theirs, and went back to running the whole thing out of the owner's head.
Out of options, they called Aquevix. The ask was small and tired: could we join the pieces they already had into something that holds. We went and stood on their floor, and found the problem was never the feature list. The people doing the work will never be tech savvy, and that is not a flaw to fix. Humans make mistakes, so a system that only records what it is told will record the mistakes too.
Which meant the software had to be simple enough to use at a machine, and awake enough to catch what the human got wrong before it became a short shipment. That is exactly what Aquevix has always believed: make software easy. We took the challenge and built it from the ground up, on their floor, against their live orders and their own wastage. That is how Prodman was born, and it is still being built in a factory that has to ship every single day.
